Dear Alumni and Friends,
‘Mr Mokhlesur Rahman (Mukul), ENV 1989 graduate, originally from Bangladesh, but was living in Sydney, sadly passed away suddenly on Saturday, 2 May 2020 in Sydney’s Westmead hospital due to a heart attack. He was 55.
Mr Rahman was working at Central Coast Council in NSW, just north of Sydney a water quality Engineer. Earlier he had worked at Sydney Water Corporation between 1991 to 2012 as a Modelling Engineer (Water and Wastewater).
He left his wife Nigar Afroza, also an Engineer from BUET, Dhaka, Bangladesh’ and 2 teenage sons, Nile and Ronel; as well as many AIT Alumni and other friends in Sydney, and extended family and relatives in Bangladesh.
He was buried the following day on Sunday, 3 May 2020 at Western Sydney’s Kemps Creek Cemeteries.
